Wonderful staff and brilliant drinks and canapés at the bar downstairs. Very reasonable prices, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Good music and not too loud. Talar was incredibly friendly and recommended a fab deal on drinks and food. Komal took the time to speak through drinks options with myself and made me feel comfortable, directing myself to the amenities. The colleagues at the attached Black Sheep coffee were similarly friendly and welcoming. It was much appreciated! Reccommend highly if you're staying or if you're just popping by!
Absolutely fantastic stay here. Great location and warm welcoming staff. Room was perfect. Clean, (credit to the cleaning team here) spacious and well stocked with water, tea and coffee. Bathroom was great, plenty of strong hot water and space to put your wash kit. 100% coming back here next time.
Popped into this hotel bar for a drink during the Birmingham Light Festival. What a lovely surprise! The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to put a smile on your face. I had a cocktail and canapés for £10 recommended to me by Talar at the front desk. Komal, the bartender, spoke to me about how she came up with the drink idea for the festival. I was on my own so it was nice to have a chat. Really great experience!
Really nice hotel in a great location. You can tell how good a place is by the quality of the staff and the staff here are brilliant. Friendly, informative, welcoming, lovely and happy to help. The room was spotlessly clean (great job Georgetta). Breakfast was delicious with some of the nicest poached eggs I've ever eaten. Worth every penny.
I stayed here recently for a work trip. My flight had been delayed and I arrived at the hotel after midnight. Ian and his colleague on the night desk was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. The hotel is lovely, I was so sorry not to have had more time in the lovely room! The breakfast has a great selection and the staff here were also really helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.
Have stayed at the hotel for a total of 6 nights since December. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are well sized. Personal preference would be for firmer pillows, but cannot mark down for that.
We visit Birmingham quite often and do not use any other hotel, the rooms are absolutely spotless, the staff are always friendly. The location is ideal fir every aspect of having a great time in Birmingham, Dining, Dancing and Shopping.
Fabulous service from Talar upon arrival! She was kind enough to give us a free upgrade with a canal view and the room is lovely would definitely recommend this hotel!
